Going back to the very early days of MW Rail when guys didn’t know if they’d be working, and customers didn’t know if they would receive supplies or if they’d get their products shipped out.

Only by digging into his own pocket and exhibiting compassionate, innovative, forward thinking, did the humble CEO manage to make this much needed rail service available.

MW Rail’s engine shop has turned several locos destined for the recycle heap into reliable performers. The “newest” re-builds from the shop will be several F units in their original roadnames. There wasn’t $$ for a wash bay (yet), so the dirt and grime indicate years and years of somewhat reliable service. While these aren’t Cadillacs, they’re not Yugos either. Resist the urge to designate them Gremlins 1 & 2 (at least for now).
