The sprawling Red Wing Malting Plant is on the upper level and the CNW Winona Yard is on the lower level. Locomotive 96C an FP7 waits patiently at the signal at Wabasha. An extra east has a "high green" at Lake City. Engineer Ernie Valentine is getting orders from Dispatcher Dave Warwaxa. Engineer Dan Lipps has train #505 near River Jct. Train #300 rounds the curve at Wabasha. Engineer Terry Schardt is waiting patiently at Wabasha. A smilling Dan Lipps has brought train 505 up to near the Northern States Power Plant on the outskirts of Red Wing, Mn. Mr. Copher, (Ron), was the Trainmaster today. #213 holds the main at Winona while meeting an extra East. Amtrak #8 leaves Wabasha.
