Tom started out the session by making a few opening remarks.
Dan got right to work.
Although he did have to put up with some heckling from the yardmaster.
All's quite in the yard for now.
Paul came out of North Yard with this UP train.
Paul's train met Randall at Central Somerset. Randall's one of our newest members and is someone Paul can look up to.
Well, maybe Randall isn't 7' tall, but with the handy Hauser Hi-Lift he can keep an eye on his train and everyone else.
Randall had a few questions about his train. Don't worry, you'll get used to the guys...
Apparantly Randall got the information he was after and everything is A.O.K. now.
George is still waiting around the crew calling area looking for something to do.
George was assigned the first run of Midwest Rail's new Rail-River Excursions with a pickup point here in Brakens. The excursion specializes in up-close views of grain elevators and other scenic wonders.
George made it over to Clover City before having to wait for a freight. Freight pays the bills after all...
Here comes the UP freight George was waiting for.
Paul makes his way around George and heads on to West LaSalle. (John and Ringo weren't available for photos).
George keeps an eye on his train as it heads into North Yard staging.
Terry made it on the line after George got out of the way.
Stan also made it out and is working his way through Brakens.
Stan's BN freight eases into Clover City and past Spotted Owl Hardwoods.
Stan switches some of the local industries at Clover City.
There was some confusion at this point as to who went where...
The superintendent issues some orders, although Dan wasn't quite sure what Tom was saying.
The culprit was found and severely chastised. (Not really, Tom's hamming it up for the camera again.)
Dan got things moving again.
Someone left a caboose on the tracks with the resulting derailment tying up the line.
