Howard and Larry were in the Hauser crew pit for this session.
Russ was the yardmaster at Troy and John worked the mill.
Ray worked Clark Fork. The MRL runs the whole layout with a couple of manifest freights plus works this area called Clark Fork.
The Kootenai River interchange
Paul reading his paperwork for the UP turn. I told Paul this was a very big job. He didn't realize just how big it was.
John was thinking, "should I go back upstairs and have one with the women up there or should I just wait around here for a few minutes?"
Joe came up from Indiana for RiverRail and grabbed the Yardley turn. This turn is another nice "off the mainline" job where once you arrive, you can get most of the work done without bothering dispatch.
Joe having fun.
Our pleasant dispatcher Tom.
What Tom uses for traffic control.
Shane was the Traffic Manager for both my RiverRail sessions. He made life pretty easy for me and I think him for that. I was recovering from chemo during RiverRail and I didn't have a lot of energy.
Shane being Shane.
The Friday call board. We were very short on crews due to last minute cancellations. The road crews had no rest time today.
Jim and Rene in the Hauser crew pit.
Jim was the yardmaster and his yard was perfect at sessions end. NICE job Jim. Jim also came up from Arizona for RiverRail. Nice to see you again Jim!
Digitrax Dave got the Yardley turn Sunday. As you can tell from his attire, he is from Florida.
Dave working Yardley.
Buddy, on the right, worked the UP turn and got done early. Nice job Buddy! Bill was interchanging cars at the interchange.
My Hauser crew pit was empty as the work was light at this point in the session.
Bill working the MRL at Clark Fork.
Steve flew in from San Diego for RiverRail. Always nice to see you Steve.
The call board for Sunday. Thanks to all that made RiverRail a great time for us here in RiverRail land!!
